At this stage, with the continuous expansion of the urban population, the total capacity of China's cold storage has exceeded 36 million tons, and the average annual rate of 26% continues to grow, but its energy consumption level is much higher than that of developed countries, and the space for energy conservation and consumption is huge, and the current standard There are no detailed indicators for cold storage energy consumption evaluation, which affects the healthy development of the industry.

This standard work meeting further defined the standard index system and monitoring methods. In principle, the draft of the standard was adopted, and appropriate, reliable and scientific monitoring methods were given to form an energy-saving evaluation method for the cold storage system, and the cold storage enterprises in Beijing were guided. Greatly tap the energy saving potential through energy-saving monitoring methods. The formulation of this standard not only has certain guiding significance for the improvement of energy-saving technology in cold storage systems, but also has important significance for ensuring fresh agricultural products, food safety, medical and epidemic prevention and safety, and is a technical standard method related to people's livelihood.
